Evelyn Avitia joined the Idaho News 6 team in October 2021 as a multimedia journalist.
Born and raised in Caldwell, Evelyn is no stranger to the Gem State. While she studied at the University of Idaho, she had the chance to explore Northern Idaho.
Evelyn received a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism, along with a minor in Anthropology. She is a proud Idahoan and Vandal alumna!
When Evelyn isn’t chasing stories, she enjoys going to local coffee shops and tasting different drinks.
