The 19th annual Community Baby Shower is an opportunity for local charities, businesses, and viewers like you to come together and give Idaho’s babies a helping hand. Together, we’re raising money, essential supplies, and awareness to help ensure expecting moms and new parents have the resources they need to succeed.
You can donate online from June 1 to June 30 by filling out the form on the left. Additionally, there are four other ways you can help our youngest Idahoans get off to a strong start:
- At Albertsons stores: Donate at the pin-pad when you pay for your groceries. In June, look for “Would you like to donate to Idaho families?” at Albertsons' registers, add the amount you'd like to donate and Albertsons will distribute these donations to local charities.
- The Big Day: You can also donate in person during our Community Baby Shower at participating Albertsons stores on Wednesday, June 11, between 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. Volunteers from local nonprofits will gladly accept donations of new baby items including diapers, wipes and other essentials, as well as cash or Albertsons gift cards.
The following local nonprofits are participating:
Baby Haven - Caldwell Salvation Army
Baby Steps of St. Michael's
Boise Salvation Army
Family Advocates
Idaho AEYC
Payette Head Start (WICAP)
- Text: Simply text the word BABYSHOWER (all one word) to 50155 to make a donation.
- QR Code: Scan the QR code when you see it on Idaho News 6, which links back to this donation page.

The Community Baby Shower campaign is an Idaho News 6 (KIVI) initiative in collaboration with the Scripps Howard Fund, a 501(c)(3) organization. Scripps Howard Fund will match $2,500 of the community's donations. Contributions to this campaign will be used to support the local Treasure Valley area and are tax-deductible as allowed by law.
Thank you for your support in assisting Idaho families!
