Karen has been with the Idaho News 6 team for more than a decade, moving to Boise from Florida in 2013.
Outside of work, Karen is likely in "mom mode" trying to keep up with her two young daughters.
Inside the newsroom, Karen has jumped into pretty much every job available: reporting, anchoring, producing, and even filling in on weather. You may catch her appear on-air every once in a while, but she currently serves as Executive Reporter, helping to coach our large team of neighborhood reporters.
Karen was honored to receive the Idaho State Broadcaster's Association "Best Reporter" award in 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2022. To date, her most memorable story assignment was flying in an F-16 Fighting Falcon with a US Air Force Thunderbirds pilot in 2018.
Karen graduated from the University of Central Florida with honors, a major in Broadcast Journalism, and a minor in Crime, Law, and Deviance.
