Karen joined the Idaho News 6 news team in June 2013 after living in Florida her whole life.

She currently co-anchors the 5:00, 6:00, and 10:00 evening newscasts Monday through Friday and is regularly out reporting in the field.

Karen was honored to receive the Idaho State Broadcaster's Association "Best Reporter" award in 2017, 2018, and 2019. To date, her most memorable story assignment was flying in an F-16 Fighting Falcon with a US Air Force Thunderbirds pilot in 2018.

Karen loves living in the Treasure Valley with her husband and daughter. The South Florida native still gets excited about Idaho's changing seasons and enjoys gardening in her backyard and hiking in the Boise foothills with her dogs.
