Nampa Police say 27-year-old Ashley Ford, wanted in connection to the March 10th stabbing death of Robert Stevens in Nampa, has been arrested in Las Vegas, Nevada.

“Ford had a warrant out for her arrest for accessory to second-degree murder. She had been identified as being with James P. Mancuso, 32, who is still a wanted suspect in this case,” said Nampa Police spokesman Sgt. Tim Riha.

Ford was arrested by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Tuesday evening.

According to reports, officers saw a woman with possible injuries -- and stopped to see if they could help her. The woman, who was later identified as Ford, was transported to a local hospital for minor injuries. She was treated and released. “The warrant was served on Ford and she is currently being held in jail in Las Vegas. Nampa Police detectives traveled to Las Vegas to interview Ford about this case,” Riha stated.

“We hope (by finding Ford, it) will speed up the apprehension of James Mancuso,” said Riha. “Our detectives are in Las Vegas and are still actively working this case to bring justice for the victim in this brutal crime.”

Mancuso was last seen in Las Vegas on May 3. His current location is unknown. “He possibly has grown a goatee and usually wears glasses. Mancuso may be driving a gray or silver GMC 4WD pickup. The year and license plate of the vehicle are unknown,” Riha stated.
