Nampa Police are investigating a stabbing that occurred on March 10th, 2016 as a homicide.

The stabbing occurred at 5:00 p.m. on the 800 block of W. Kinghorn Drive in Nampa.

A 30-year-old victim died at a local hospital from injuries he sustained in the incident.

“Witnesses advised that an argument ensued between two males in front of the garage at the residence. During the altercation one male subject stabbed the victim in the abdomen and then fled the scene,” said Sergeant Tim Riha.

The suspect and a woman took off from the home in a cream or tan colored 90’s Dodge pickup truck with a brown stripe on its side.  It may also have Jerome County, 2J, plates.

Police say the woman with the suspect has been identified as 27-year-old Ashley Ford.  She has been listed as a person of interest in the case.

The male suspect has been described as a white male with short brown hair, glasses and wearing a long sleeved shirt.

“At this time, we do not think that there is any danger to the general public. It was reported to police that the suspect and victim know each other,” Riha said.
