Nampa Police name suspect in homicide

Nampa Police have named a suspect in a deadly stabbing that took place earlier this month.

An arrest warrant for 2nd-degree murder has been issued for 32-year-old James P. Mancuso.

Robert Stevens died after he was stabbed during an altercation in Nampa on March 10th on the 800 block of W. Kinghorn Drive.

Police believe Mancuso is in the Bonner County area and is believed to be traveling with 27-year-old Ashley Ford who has been listed as a person of interest in the case.

“This case continues to be a high priority for our agency and we are making continuous efforts to apprehend James Mancuso,” said Lt. Eric Skoglund. “We are working with the United States Marshall’s Greater Idaho Fugitive Task Force to locate Mancuso wherever he goes,” Skoglund said.

Mancuso and Ford fled a traffic stop in a 2009 Subaru Forrester on Wednesday, March 23rd in Bonner County.23rd in Bonner County.

The vehicle was found abandoned by police.

Police then say that the duo likely stole a 1991 Toyota extended cab truck with a license plate of 7B 95103.
