BOISE, Idaho — All of us here at 6 On Your Side are asking our community to band together to support local businesses during this tough time through our "We're Open" series.

Under the Governor's stay-at-home order, restaurants are allowed to stay open, but only drive-thru, delivery and carryout options are available.

Sofra Bosnian Grill is one of the local restaurants keeping their doors open, with take out options only.

The local, family-owned, grill has been serving up delicious food in Meridian for the past four years.

"Since day one, the community has been there supporting me and you know, eating at my restaurant," said Edina Delic, co-owner of the Sofra Bosnian Grill. "Community and us helping each other is kind of common sense, you know? Teamwork is in every aspect of life. Important for me also is because I want to keep my restaurant open."

Delic says she cleans and sanitizes the store, and does her best to make sure its safe for everyone. She says even if you can't buy much, kind words and encouragement go a long way in this tough time.

Delic also added she's willing to help cook and deliver food for those with a desperate need, especially those at a high risk for contracting COVID-19 who can't leave their homes. If you're in need of help, call the restaurant at (208) 389-8690.

If you're tired of cooking at home, and still want to get some quality take out or delivery for dinner, check out this list from our media partners at Boise Development News! They've put together a full, and ever expanding, list of local restaurants that are still open.
