"See Spot Splash", the annual off-leash dog party for pups in Boise, is back for it's eighth year.
Wednesday, August 24, dog owners in Boise are invited to bring their four-legged friends to the Natatorium Pool off Warm Springs Avenue to enjoy an hour long swim session.
The public pool closed for human-use Tuesday, so before crews with Boise Parks and Rec drain and clean the pool for the season, they let the messier, furrier valley residents soak it in for five hours.
For safety reasons, there is a 50 dog maximum capacity in the pool at any time, and dogs are invited in one-hour shifts starting on the hour, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Dogs will be allowed in on a first-come, first-served basis.
The event is free, but donations for the Idaho Humane Society will be accepted.
