A group of Treasure Valley high schoolers are hoping to "disrupt for good" while breaking a Guinness world record for the largest mural constructed out of Post-It notes.

The group of teens with One Stone have been planning the project since last summer.

Project leader Carly Liebich says the finished mural will take up all four NBA-sized basketball courts at the YMCA Homecourt in Meridian, using 320,000 Post-It notes in 11 different colors.

The finished product will be a mural of Carly with sound waves and One Stone's motto, "Disrupt for good."

Carly says the motto encompasses their efforts to spread good through the Treasure Valley, and show that students have a voice that should be heard.

They'll be laying Post-It notes on the gymnasium floor by using a grid pattern on Saturday from 7:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m.

All volunteers are welcome! If you're interested just head to 936 Taylor Ave. in Meridian.

They hope to have the entire mural complete by Sunday morning, when a Guinness world record official will be on cite to tally their efforts.

When it's all said and done, Carly says they'll remove the Post-It notes in an organized fashion, clean them up, then write notes of gratitude and kindness on them to distribute throughout the Treasure Valley.

The teens hope this will help start a kindness movement, encouraging others to keep it moving forward.
