Victims identified in fatal e. Idaho plane crash

The Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office is reporting that four people died in a plane crash near the Alpine, Wyoming Airport on March 13th.

The accident was located near China Beach on the Palisades Reservoir and investigators believe the crash occurred several hours before the call for assistance came in.

The 1958 four-passenger Cessna 182A was completely burned.

The victims have been identified as 40-year-old Jerry "David" Anderson and his wife 38-year-old Jessica Ann Anderson.  Two passengers who were also killed in the crash were 39-year-old Thomas "Brook" Summers and 36-year-old Heidi Summers.

The National Transportation Safety Board (N.T.S.B.) is the primary investigative body for the crash.

This is the third crash in less than a year in the same area.

An Oklahoma man died on October 15th, 2015 after crashing east of Palisades Reservoir near Sheep Mountain. His teenage passenger was taken to the hospital with serious injuries at the time.

On January 4th, 2016, two people from the east coast died after crashing their Yak 42 Russian trainer onto the edge of Palisades Reservoir.
