Bernie Sanders to appear in Idaho Falls

Vermont senator and potential Democratic presidential nominee Bernie Sanders will be in Idaho Falls on Friday, March 18th and visit Boise on Monday, March 21st.

According to Sanders' campaign staff, the rallys will focus on, "A wide range of issues, including getting big money out of politics, his plan to make public colleges and universities tuition-free, combating climate change and ensuring universal health care."

Senator Sanders will be at Skyline High School, 1767 Blue Sky Drive, in Idaho Falls and doors will open at 8:30 a.m. then on Monday the 21st speak at Boise State's Taco Bell Arena. Doors will open for the Boise rally at 9:00 a.m.

Both events are free and the campaign is encouraging RSVP’s which can be done here.

If you plan to attend, do not bring bags and limit what you bring to things like keys and cell phones.

Weapons, sharp objects, chairs, and signs or banners on sticks will not be allowed through security.

Limited parking is available on site and carpooling is strongly encouraged.
