Hundreds packed the Egyptian Theatre in Boise tonight for a special evening with local movie star Aaron Paul.  The “Breaking Bad” star returned to his hometown to give people a special sneak peek at his brand new movie, “Triple 9”.

"I am so excited that people are finally able to see it. We shot this movie a year-and-a-half ago," Paul said.

He said the movie is just one of those rides that grabs you at your throat and doesn't let go for two hours.  Paul said working with the all-star cast was terrifying.

“You know I got to work with some of my idols, Woody Harrelson is one of my all-time favorite actors. And he's been one of my favorite actors for so many years he's just such a legend."

As for being from the Gem State, he said it's always a vacation to come home. Some of his favorite places are with his family and at his house. But some of the others he mentioned you may recognize.

"Floating the river, getting on the lake, going up to McCall just being outside, it's such a beautiful state and the community is just incredible.”

If you missed out on tickets in today’s scavenger hunt put on by Pauland couldn’t see the movie tonight, “Triple 9” opens in theaters across the Valley tomorrow.
