Good Friday eve!
Temperatures throughout the weekend are expected to remain steady, with afternoons in the upper 80s and partly cloudy skies. Heat will shortly build in by Sunday and bring temperatures into the upper 90s and triple digits both Monday and Tuesday. The cause of this is an upper-level ridge that will amplify over the area into early next week.
My primary concern with the heat is the risk of wildfires. Hot surface air and dry conditions, combined with high-based thunderstorms, will increase the risk of wildfires.
