It is official, all Vandal sports will now be part of the Big Sky Conference! The Idaho State Board of Education approved the University of Idaho’s request to move all athletics today, and will go into effect in 2018. The unanimous decision by the board did not come as a surprise.
Vandal officials have announced that the cost to be in the FBS level play is around four to six million dollars annually, but the University doesn't suspect they will need to reduce any other sports with the move. The Vandal booster fund has stayed strong around two million dollars for the past ten years.
