This Saturday, the Broncos will welcome Colorado State to the blue. Today, Athletic Director Curt Apsey said there are close to 5,500 tickets still available. With the Broncos ranking 15th, there is no better time than now to get out to Albertson’s Stadium to cheer on this team.

It’s the highest ranking in-season since Kellen Moore was the quarterback for the Broncos, and regardless of a late kickoff, Apsey says it’s imperative that the fan base shows up Saturday to cheer on this team that’s in the national spotlight.

"We’re going to play in front of a national television audience with a 5-0 record and ranked 15th in the country, our team needs us behind them, and I’m hopeful they understand how important this game is, and how important they are in the stands,” Said, Athletic Director Curt Apsey.

Houston possibly saw their college football playoffs go up in smoke with an upset by the Navy. Curt Apsey has stated multiple times about scheduling opponents for the Broncos in the future and hasn’t ruled out the possibility of one day playing the Houston Cougars.

"We’ve had some conversations with them. It just hasn’t worked out so far. But I can see it down the road,” said, Apsey.

This weekend is also homecoming, and for Bronco fans, it will give them the chance to see the 2007 Fiesta Bowl team who shocked Oklahoma, as around 45-50 players will make their return to The Blue.

"We’ve won a lot of games since then. Those guys set the bar. It’s always great when we can have former Broncos back on campus,” said, Apsey.

Apsey stated several times that he hopes to have a sellout crowd and tickets for this game are as low as $29 dollars a seat.
