The Boise State Broncos hit the gridiron this morning for spring practice as we inch closer to the annual spring game on April 9th.
This season the Broncos will be led by a new defensive coordinator. Linebackers coach Andy Avalos was promoted to defensive coordinator this past off season and so far is impressed in what he is seeing out of his boys on defense.
“It's obviously fun when you have a veteran group coming back, guys that understand and know the system, know the playbook, and you can really coach up the details they're off to a great start those are the guys you talk to all the time about being leaders by example and being great communicators on the field so they’re doing a good job with that.”
