The Mountain West Conference held their annual mid-year board of director meetings in Phoenix, Arizona to discuss league matters with the athletic directors and presidents.
Among the things that were discussed included finding a venue for the 2017, 2018, and 2019 mountain west mens and womens basketball championships. A final decision is expected to be made in the coming day.
The meeting also discussed a transfer policy regarding student athletes who had off the field issues at their previous institution. Another topic on the menu was on expanding the league and as of right now the conference feels comfortable with the 12 team format.
