We are less than a week away from when the Broncos take the field for Spring Football. This year we will see a new running back in the backfield with Alexander Mattison taking the reins from Jeremy Jeremy McNichols who is off to the NFL.
Last year he found paydirt 4 times and rushed nearly 330 yards. Mattison says even though he wasn’t in every game he has learned a tremendous amount in the short time with Boise State.
“Just being able to travel I never traveled like that in high school. Being able to see what goes on when I’m not on the field to be able to see both sides of the ball. Defensively and offensively I think going forward having that experience will help me. It does push me to get better and to make sure I make a name for myself,” said Sophomore Running Back Alexander Mattison.
