Senior Teauna Hughes brought the power to Boise State’s finale at the Jeannine McHaney Memorial Classic in Lubbock, hitting a pair of home runs as the Broncos beat Texas Tech, 8-4.
It was the second two-homer game of Hughes’ career, with the first coming last March 7 against Montana. Sunday, she went 2-for-3 with her second long ball of the game, a two-run shot in the third inning, tying the game at 4-4. Hughes' homers were her third and fourth of the season, giving her the team lead.
