Heading into next year the Broncos could be looking for a new weapon in the backfield with Jeremy McNichols possibly leaving early for the NFL.

This season McNichols has rushed for over 1600 yards and has a total of 27 touchdowns.

McNichols also was named a second-team All-Mountain West selection the last two years.

Coach Harsin has acknowledged that he has seen reports of McNichols leaving but he says those conversations haven’t been made with his star running back as of yet.

"We have had the very little conversation over it right now he's done a great job it's gotta come down to what he thinks we can't always control the outside influence or what people say and all that.

All we can do is give them the facts and be there for them like we have been throughout his career.  If does decide to come out early we will do like we did with Jay Ajayi we will support him you know.  We want him to stay we obviously think he can do some great things here," said, Head Coach Bryan Harsin.
