This year the Broncos had their work cut out for them trying to replace second-round NFL draft pick Kamalei Correa and several other outgoing seniors. Defensive line coach, Steve Caldwell, has found his replacement with David Moa.

Through the three games the Broncos have played so far, they are first in the Nation. They average over four sacks per game.

On the line alone they have 60 tackles, nine sacks, and five pass deflections. Some of that credit goes to the sophomore David Moa. He has 10 tackles and 4 sacks all on his own.

“Coach Caldwell was talking about it during fall camp. A great D-Lineman to him is somebody that needs to be blocked by two people every play,” said Defensive Lineman David Moa. “For that to actually happen is a lot of respect towards me and I appreciate that a lot. The main is to continue to win the one on ones when the opportunity does come up,” said Defensive Lineman David Moa.
