Posted

The Boise State women's basketball team get set to take on the Cowboys at Taco Bell Arena tomorrow.  Right now the Broncos are outscoring their opponents by 8 points a game and grabbing just over three more rebounds a game.

The Broncos have reached a lot of their success through center Miquelle Askew who put up 39 points against San Jose State Wednesday night for the win. Askew also ranks 11th all time in scoring for the Broncos.

"She’s just had a wonderful career here. I think she has already nee player of the week twice and she had 39 points the other night. She is just one of the traditional post players to get on the block and make post moves. We are fortunate to have her here. She has had a wonderful career.” said, head coach Gordy Persnell.

" It seem like i've been putting in a lot of work over the last three and half four years. It's kind of like a little bit of earnings for the work you put in i guess.” said, center Miquelle Askew.
