The University of Kansas is looking for a new athletic director and matt tait of theLawrence Journal-World is listing possible AD candidates.

Boise States Curt Apsey is listed as one of the potential candidates.  Apsey has been the athletic director for the past three years and his contract runs till 2020.

He returned to Boise State in 2015, after nearly a year as the athletic director at Carroll College in Helena, Montana.  Before Apsey was the athletic director he spent 16 years as an associate ad for the Broncos. Tait says with Apsey success with Boise State on the grid-iron he could be a could fit for Arkansas.

"They obviously have to address football it's a problem.  It's something that is not getting better it's a big reason that they’re outgoing athletic director lost his job.  It would only make sense for the next guy or gal to have some football knowledge and some track record of success at a football school.  Obviously, a profile that fits with Curt Apsey. Not only has he been there for the last few years where they have been able to do well. Prior to leaving he was there for 16 years and doing it all during those glory years," said KUsports.com Sports Editor Matt Tait.
