The No. 15 Boise State gymnastics team (15-0, 8-0 MRGC) scored a school record 49.575 on floor in their last event to move ahead of Southern Utah and claim their second-straight Mountain Rim Gymnastics Conference Championship with a final team score of 197.025. The team score is good for the fourth highest in school history and the highest ever at a conference championship.

Maddie Krentz and Sandra Collantes then brought the crowd of 1,601 in Taco Bell Arena to their feet with near perfect routines, tallying back-to-back 9.95s. Krystine Jacobsen sealed the deal with a 9.9 in the last routine of the night, securing the victory for the Blue and Orange.

The title is the sixth conference championship for Bird and Resnick (two in the MRGC, four in the WAC). Tina Bird and Neil Resnick were also named MRGC Co-Coaches of the Year, and Shani Remme was named the MRGC Freshman of the Year.

Already a lock for regionals, the Broncos will learn their regional location and seed when the NCAA Selection Show airs on Monday, March 21 at 2 p.m. (MT) on NCAA.com.
