The Broncos will begin the season next Saturday against Troy inside Albertson stadium. Now until game day, it's about fine tuning the younger players.
Boise State said goodbye to three offensive linemen to graduation and offensive line coach Scott Huff to the University of Washington.
In the spring four of the five that should be starting was dealing with nagging injuries which gave the backups extra reps.
Leading that group is a local product Mason Hampton who Rypien says is a perfect leader to teach the younger guys.
"I think Mason Hampton first and foremost has done an unbelievable job leading that group making sure that everyone is dialed in at their position because we do have some younger guys.
The one thing is we are really big that's one thing I definitely noticed that we have some size up front and we are able to move people around,” said, Quarterback Brett Rypien.
