As the famous NSYNC song goes; “baby bye bye bye.” Boise State is saying “bye” to its bye week and is getting set to face BYU in Provo Friday.

The Boys in Blue are hoping to get above five hundred as they close out their nonconference schedule with the Cougars.

For the fans, players, and coaches, it’s been a long bye week. The Broncos are 2-2 this season, and it’s making fans wonder what kind of team Boise State really has.

Boise State was able to start the season with a win over Troy who knocked off Louisiana state Saturday. Then Boise State went the distance in a triple-overtime loss to Washington state. Washington State was able to hang on against 5th ranked USC this past Friday.

After the loss to Virginia, Head Coach Bryan Harsin said changes were coming to the program. Fans should find out exactly what Coach Harsin meant by changes in Monday’s press conference.

Right now the Broncos open up as a 7 point favorite against BYU according to Las Vegas oddsmakers.

The Cougars are coming off an awful loss to Utah state to where the Aggies won easily 40 to 24.

BYU committed seven turnovers in the game.

Friday's game will be a big question as to who will start for the Cougars as Boise native Tanner Mangum was in street clothes and wearing a boot on his left foot against the Aggies.   Mangum did throw a handful of passes in the pregame.
