Boise State left this afternoon for sunny Las Vegas as the team gets set for their quarterfinals match up between the winner of Colorado State and San Jose State.
Boise State split both season series against Colorado State and San Jose State. Boise State is the only team in the field with wins against each of the top two seeds this season. Coach Rice is taking the simple approach win and move on.
“you don’t get the second game if you don’t play a good first game. You just have to play a really good forty minute basketball game and then survive and get to the next one and try to play the best you can that night and like you said with that short of a turnaround. If you can keep surviving and be there standing at the end, that's what you’re trying to accomplish.” said Leon Rice.
