Kayakers like to hit the water on a hot day like Wednesday. When Six On Your Side was at the Whitewater Park, only one skilled kayaker was there.

Even though river levels have come down, it's not enough for maintenance workers to remove sediment from the wave shapers at the Whitewater Park in Boise.

The Boise River is flowing at about 2,300 cubic-feet-per-second. The River Float Season can't take off until it's down to at least 1,500 CFS.

Officials warn the water is still dangerous and to stay away.
