Investigators say a Garden City mobile home is a total loss following a Wednesday afternoon fire.

Boise FIre has ruled the fire as accidental -- the result of a clothing iron.

Flames were reported about 1:30 p.m. coming from a home in the 3700 block of Chinden Blvd.

Dispatchers quickly called a second-alarm, so additional crews could help protect other nearby mobile homes.

Two people were in the mobile home at the time, but they were able to get out safely, said Boise Fire Department spokeswoman Tammy Barry.

Crews extinguished the fire in about thirty minutes.

One firefighter suffered minor injuries when he accidently slipped on ice. He was taken to a nearby hospital for evaluation, Barry added.

Garden City Police detectives are investigating the cause of the fire.
