PAYETTE COUNTY, Idaho — Idaho State Police investigated an injury crash near exit 13 Sunday night around 5:30.
45-year-old Eric Stone, of Boise, was driving a 2006 Nissan Frontier eastbound on I-84 near exit 13. Stone attempted to pass a 2014 Chevrolet Cruze on the right and after the pass, Stone moved back into the left lane. The Chevrolet Cruze then hit the rear-end of the Frontier.
The driver and passenger of the Chevrolet Cruze are juveniles and will not be identified. Both were transported by ground ambulance to Saint Alphonsus in Boise. Stone was not injured. All three involved in the crash were wearing seatbelts.
The left lane of eastbound travel was blocked for 30 minutes.
