The TSA has responded to a request of how Kyle Odom was able to board a plane to Washington D.C. from Boisefollowing the shooting of Pastor Tim Remington in Coeur d’ Alene.
According to TSA sources, a bulletin notifying TSA of police interest in Kyle Odom was not received until the evening of Monday, March 7th. Odom flew out of the Boise Airport during the morning of March 7th and TSA was not aware of Odom’s accused crimes at that time.
Odom followed all regular TSA procedures through security checkpoints.
TSA sources explained in an e-mail, “TSA screens passenger information against the U.S. government’s consolidated Terrorist Watchlist, which is maintained by the FBI’s Terrorist Screening Center.”
Odom appeared in court in the District of Columbia briefly on March 9th following his arrest the previous night by Secret Service agents.
