UPDATE: All westbound lanes of I-84 reopened this morning around 12:30. Parts of the freeway were closed since 6:50 p.m. Sunday night due to the semi spilling metal beams across all westbound lanes near milepost 253 in Oregon. Eastbound lanes were not impacted due to the crash. Travelers in the area are urged to drive with extra caution.

ORIGINAL STORY: All westbound lanes of I-84 are closed in Baker City for cars (Exit 302) and Ontario (Exit 374) for trucks because of a semi crash.

The Oregon Department of Transportation says the crash involves a flatbed trailer that was carrying steel beams. Those beams are scattered across the freeway. The closure is between Exit 302 and milepost 253, and is expected to last several hours.

The eastbound lanes are still open.
