UPDATE:
Friday afternoon, Joseph Bryant was driving a commercial vehicle pulling a fully loaded car hauler eastbound on I-84 when he didn't slow for stopped traffic.
His vehicle hit the rear of a flatbed trailer, which jack-knifed.
A chain reaction crash involving nine other vehicles blocked lanes for about seven hours while crews worked to clear the scene, leaving several drivers injured.

A multi-vehicle crash west of Caldwell closed all eastbound lanes on I-84 for several hours on a busy Friday night.
Dispatch tells us the call came in at 3:39 p.m. and at least 7 drivers are involved. Dispatch says a semi hauling cars rolled over in the crash, and a ground ambulance was also involved.
Traffic is at a standstill, with many people out of their cars and walking around.
Police are detouring drivers around the crash onto Highway 30 at Sand Hollow Drive.
Idaho State Police are currently working to clear the scene.
