A unique fundraiser for Boise's Interfaith Sanctuary shelter gives local businesses an opportunity to get services at a discounted rate.

The Creative Good Benefit Dinner and Auction is coming up on April 20 starting at 6 p.m. at The Owyhee.

Organizers say they still need professional artists to provide their talent. The artist gets to set the price for the starting bid and keep that portion of the profit. Anything beyond that will be handed off to the family shelter that helps folks successfully transition out of homelessness.

"They are, on a day-to-day basis, doing truly a remarkable job at what they're doing," says Aaron Day with Thrive Web Designs. "And, we just really want to help them out."

Last year, they raised over $5,000. This year, they are hoping to triple that amount.
