BOISE, Idaho — Since the original concept of BoDo took shape on Eighth Street between Front and Myrtle streets has been a popular spot for locals and visitors. And now something new and big is coming that's been on the drawing board for two years.

The first stage will be what's known as a large food hall concept on the east side of eighth street. Don Day from BoiseDev explains. "So they're going to take that whole side of BoDo along eighth street where Loft, and Up Cycle are, where Urban Outfitters used to be and made it this big open space with lot's of different food vendors, alcohol served, Cafe D'arte will be moved. So you're going to see this huge 19,000 square foot food hall style center coming to downtown Boise, right in the heart of BoDo."

And just a few blocks away, there are plans to re-make Grove Street from the Basque block down to Broadway Avenue that includes a pedestrian path that would go right behind the Ada County courthouse.

One thing is for certain, more is yet to come.
