BOISE, Idaho — St. Luke's announced this morning they have received its first shipment of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine Tuesday. The health system received 195 vials of the vaccine, which is 975 doses, according to a news release.

Saint Alphonsus received their first shipment Monday and will be distributing the doses to their healthcare workers this week. Madison Memorial Hospital in Rexburg, Idaho has already begun administering the vaccine to their ICU staff.
The Idaho Department of Health and Welfare says they expect 13,650 doses of the vaccine to be in Idaho by the end of the week.
