With the winter weather advisory in effect until 11 this morning, it's a good idea to take it slow on the roads. Remember to give yourself extra time this morning and leave a little extra space between you and the car in front of you.
Officials with ODOT have reopened westbound I-84 between Baker City and La Grande, but they warn winter driving conditions remain. They're also asking anyone that can postpone travel through that area to do so.
There are some more school closures. So far Kuna, Wilder, Falcon Ridge Charter School, Vallivue, Nampa School District, Nampa Charter Schools, Nampa Christian Schools, Caldwell, Zion Lutheran School, Heritage Community Charter School, Caldwell Adventist Elementary, Gem Prep Nampa, Paul Mitchell School in Nampa, and Middleton schools are closed. Teaching world classes are cancelled but the daycare is open.
