Saint Als welcomes first Boise baby of 2020

BOISE, Idaho — Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise has announced the arrival of the area’s first baby of 2020.

Callum Hendrickson entered the world at 12:23 a.m., weighing in at nine pounds, thirteen ounces and 21 inches long, according to a hospital e-mail. His parents, Kaitlyn and Alex Hendrickson, live in Meridian. Callum joins older brother Carson.

To commemorate the hospital’s first baby of the new year, Saint Alphonsus officials presented Kaitlyn and Callum with a reusable laundry basket/tote filled with baby clothes, a blanket, an Alphonzo Bear stuffed animal, toys and other items parents of newborns need and enjoy.
