BOISE, Idaho — Tickets for premium bleacher seats to watch the elimination and final rounds of the Road to X Games: Boise Park Qualifier at Rhodes Skate Park on Saturday, June 29 will go on sale next week, according to a news release from the Boise Parks and Recreation Department.

Fans will be able to purchase tickets starting at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, May 14th on the City of Boise’s Road to X Games website.

“A limited number of tickets are available for Saturday’s elimination and final rounds. The tickets are $25 per person and are good for the entire day of competition on Saturday, June 29. Fans will have a front-row seat to all the action as athletes in the final rounds of the BMX Park, Women’s Skateboard Park and Men’s Skateboard Park compete to punch their ticket to X Games Minneapolis,” said Boise Parks and Rec spokesperson Bonnie Shelton.

Bleacher seats will be free and open to the public on Friday, June 28, during qualifying rounds at the park.

“In addition to the world class athletes who will be competing at Rhodes Skate Park, we’ll be announcing a new and inspiring addition to the event in the coming weeks -- that fans are going to love,” said Boise Parks and Recreation director Doug Holloway.

As in years past, fans do not need a ticket to experience the Road to X Games on Friday or Saturday. There will be large screens placed throughout Rhodes Skate Park live-streaming the competition in standing-room-only areas and the city’s Family Fun Zone and festival area will be open to the public starting at 11 a.m. on June 28 and 29.

There will be food trucks, beer and wine available for purchase and additional viewing areas for fans in the festival area. Fans of all ages will enjoy a bike rodeo, interactive art projects and opportunities to get autographs from their favorite athletes.

In addition to Boise’s own Dalton Beeson, who will be skating in his third Boise Park Qualifier, local skateboarder Elliot Saxton has also received an invite to the Road to X Games: Boise Park Qualifier. They will be competing with 63 other athletes from across the world.

Last year, more than 12,000 people visited Rhodes Skate Park over the two-day Boise Park Qualifier event, officials said. This will be the third year Boise plays host to some of the world’s best BMX athletes and skateboarders.
