A Pocatello couple is in the Bannock County Jail, facing drug possession and child pornography charges.
Lance J. Parry, 47, and Jessica J. Parry, 38, who police believe are husband and wife, were arrested Wednesday by the Pocatello Police Department.
Each initially faced drug charges. Authorities say additional charges of sexual exploitation of a minor were added as the investigation progressed.
Investigators with the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force with the Idaho Attorney General’s Office found about one-thousand child porn images on various electronic devices seized during the arrests, said Bannock County Assistant Chief Deputy Prosecutor JaNiece Price.
“Given the large number of images found, this was significant,” she said.
The investigation is ongoing.
