A Meridian man is in the Ada County Jail after police say he had sex with a 14-year-old girl.
Officers arrested Aaron Larison, 18, about 5:45 p.m. Sunday. He’s charged with felony lewd conduct with a child under the age of sixteen.
Police say Larison befriended a fourteen-year-old girl on Facebook and met her Saturday evening. “(We) believe Larison engaged in sexual acts with the victim in a parking lot in the area of Eagle Road and Ustick Road,” said Meridian Police Deputy Chief Tracy Basterrechea.
“Larison had never met the girl prior to this encounter and had only corresponded with her through Facebook and text messaging,” Basterrechea stated.
Police also believe Larison knew the victim was only fourteen.
Police say they were alerted to the assault by one of the girl’s relatives.
