A man escaped serious injury Monday morning after police say he missed a turn and crashed into Indian Creek in Nampa.
Dispatchers say it happened about 7:12 a.m. at the intersection of 14th Avenue North and 3rd Street North.
The driver was able to get out of the car. He was the only occupant in the vehicle. His name was not immediately released.
There was less than three feet of water in the canal at the time.
The crash is still under investigation. Police are not yet saying if drugs or alcohol were involved.
