Two westbound lanes of Interstate 84 in west Boise were closed for over an hour Monday after a semi trailer rolled onto its side.
According to the Idaho State Police, the crash happened about 11:10 a.m. near the Maple Grove Road overpass.
Maurice Ronneburg, 52, of Pocatello, was traveling westbound in a Peterbuilt semi pulling two trailers loaded with fertilizer. Kimberly Davenport, 49, of Boise, was also traveling westbound in a Mercedes 350 SUV.
Davenport changed lanes, sideswiping Ronneburg's vehicle. Ronneburg lost control of his vehicle, causing the rear trailer to roll onto its side, losing its load.
HAZMAT crews cleaned up the fertilizer, as Idaho State Police investigated the collision. Boise Police officers helped out with traffic control.
The two lanes were blocked until about 12:30 p.m.
No word yet if any citations were issued.
