Nampa Police investigating Thursday evening shooting; suspect being questioned

NAMPA, Idaho — Nampa Police responded to a shooting on East Park Ridge Drive Thursday evening.

Police say they located a 15-year-old boy with an apparent gunshot wound to his leg.

Authorities say the suspect, identified as 34-year-old Christopher Baker of Caldwell, fled the scene, but they found him a short time later.

Baker has not been arrested on any shooting-related charges, but he was arrested on the following offenses:

Manufacturing a controlled substance (felony) 37-2732 (A)(1)(B)
Possession of a controlled substance (misdemeanor) 37-2732 (C)3
Possession of drug paraphernalia (misdemeanor) 37-2734A
