Nampa Police found a body in an alley between the 2000 block of 4th Street South and the 2000 block of 5th Street South Monday morning –- and say they are investigating the death as a possible homicide.
A person who lives in the neighborhood discovered the body and notified police, according to Sgt. Tim Riha.
“We are investigating this as a possible homicide until we know further, because we don’t want to miss any details,” he said. “But we don’t have an exact cause of death yet.”
Police are publicly identifying the body only as that of an “adult Hispanic male.” Detectives have identified the person, and are working to locate family members.
No further details were released.
An autopsy is planned for Tuesday, Riha said.
