The Nampa Police Department is investigating a string of vehicle burglaries that occurred in the Autumn Breeze subdivision either Sunday night or Monday morning.

“Many of the vehicles were left unlocked,” said Nampa Police spokesman Sgt. Tim Riha.

“Most of the break-ins took place on Pennsylvania Street and East Castleberg Loop,” he explained. The Autumn Breeze subdivision is near Southside Blvd. and Greenhurst Road.

An assortment of items were stolen, Riha said, including purses, a key fob, a vehicle owner’s manual, charging cords, and a wallet containing a driver’s license. Between twelve and fifteen vehicles were burglarized, he said.

Investigators do not yet have any suspects.

Residents are advised to always remove valuables from their vehicles and make sure their vehicles are locked.
