Two separate crashes snarled traffic on Westbound I-84 in Nampa during the Monday evening commute.
Both accidents happened between the Garrity and Franklin Boulevard exits.
The first crash involved five vehicles roughly around 6:15 p.m.
A short time later, another vehicle crashed just west of the original accident.
Several cars were severely damaged and westbound lanes were blocked while crews worked to clear the scene.
No word yet on the extent of injuries for those involved. Check back for updates.
