Meridian Police are investigating the fraudulent use of a stolen debit card from a Nampa burglary -– and are asking for the public’s help in finding the suspect.

On September 5 of this year, the suspect used the stolen card at both a Meridian Walmart located on East Fairview Avenue and a Boise Walmart located on West Overland, said Meridian Police Deputy Chief Tracy Basterrechea.

Police have tried to identify the suspect, but admit they’ve had no success. That’s why they’re asking if members of the public can identify him.

An image of the suspect was captured by a store security camera.

The suspect appears to be a white male adult, about 35 to 45 years old, about 5-feet 8-inches to 6-feet tall, wearing cowboy boots, blue jeans, a blue/black hooded sweatshirt, and a blue and white baseball-style hat.

If you’ve seen the man or know who he is, you are urged to call CrimeStoppers at 343-COPS or Officer A. Turner with the Meridian Police Department at 208-888-6678.
