Meridian Police have arrested a man they say stole in a local restaurant earlier this month.
Officers arrested Derek Dean Holder, 37, of Boise for the theft of a wallet from the local Panda Express on November 7. Meridian Police say they worked with Panda Express and Idaho State Probation and Parole to identify Holder.
A male customer of the restaurant had accidentally dropped his wallet after paying for a dinner. Police say Holder picked the wallet up and made no effort to return it. The suspect was captured on the restaurant’s surveillance camera.
Holder was booked into the Ada County Jail late Monday afternoon for felony grand theft.
