Boise's neighborhoods are a key pillar of the city's celebrated livability, and that's why Mayor Dave Bieter says he feels it's important to recognize all of the city's neighborhoods.
Bieter announced the recipients of Boise's 2019 Neighborhood Investment Program Awards Wednesday as part of the city's "Energize Our Neighborhoods" initiative.
The city approved 20 projects for 14 neighborhoods, including the West Bench Neighborhood Association. With the help of federal grant money, the city funds over $560,000 for the program awards.
